Elder Larry Head, Pastor

Pastor Larry James Head, a native of Perry Georgia, is the oldest of five children to the late J. D. Daniel and Nettie Ruth Daniel. A graduate of Peach County High School Class of ’77, Pastor Head accelerated his high school career to enter the US Army in January of ’76. Pastor Head served in various states and countries during his tour of duty which ended in August of 1983.

At nine year of age, Pastor Head was saved and baptized at Cool Spring Baptist Church in Fort Valley, Georgia. Being led by the Holy Spirit, He rededicated his life back to Christ in September 26, 2004 at New Hope Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Pastor Ray Sales. Recognizing and nurturing the anointing and calling upon his life, Pastor Sales appointed him to various offices and positions within the church, which included: Deacon, Minister, President of the Youth Department, Primary and Adult Sunday School Teacher, Treasurer, and Pastoral Appreciation Coordinator.

In 2009, Pastor Head attended the C. H. Mason Theological Seminary through the Northern Georgia II Jurisdiction and received a certificate of completion on June 28, 2011. After serving as a Minister for over two years, he was ordained an Elder and received his license under Bishop Mark Walden on August 13, 2011.

In addition to serving in various capacities of leadership throughout the years, Pastor Head was also involved in a variety of ministerial endeavors that prepared him to embrace lost souls and minister to the whole individual regardless of challenges or limitations.

Following years of preparation, God released him to embark upon his own ministry. In December 31, 2018, he became the Pastor and Founder of Living Water Outreach Ministry, which he established with his wife. Bishop Mark Walden appointed Pastor Head as a Pastor on March 23, 2019. Demonstrating unwavering faith made the decision to devote his life and service to the ministry. Pastor Head has always had a heart to serve the Lord through demonstration by preaching and teaching the unadulterated Word of God as to pierce the heart of those desiring a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. He is supported in his ministry by his wife Danielle, their 7 children and 11 grandchildren. His ultimate desire is seeing souls saved and living a life which glorifies God.
